Dry Cough

  1. Give juice of Ardusi (Adhatoda Vasica) in honey.
  2. Take Ginger and Black pepper in equal parts, add jaggery to prepare small pills. Keep pills in mouth and suck it few times in a day.
  3. Drink warm milk after adding turmeric powder and black pepper, before going to sleep
  4. Prepare decoction of tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum) leaves and black pepper and drink.
  5. Prepare decoction after boiling water and adding 2-3 leaves of betel leaf (Piper betle), 2-3 clove, a pinch each of black pepper and rock salt. Drink when warm before going to sleep.
  6. For children, take juice of 2-3 betel leaves, add honey, and give it for relief in dry cough.
  7. Heat one spoon of cow ghee in a vessel, add two spoons of pearl millet flour and a piece of jaggery, roast till it gets brown. Add a pinch each of the powder of ginger, black pepper, and pepper. Add water and drink when warm.
  8. Roast black chickpea in a pan. Eat when warm before going to sleep.
  9. Keep a piece each of Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) and Baheda (Terminalia bellirica) bark in mouth and suck to get relief in cough.
  10. Keep a piece of dry outer shell of pomegranate in mouth and suck to get relief in dry cough.
  11. Gargling with warm water added with salt gives relief in dry cough.
  12. Inhale vapor two-three times a day to get relief in cough.
