Home Remedies:

Insomnia (Anidra)

1. Pippali mool powder 2 grams with honey gives good sleep.

2. Drink Nutmeg powder with water for good sleep.

3. One teaspoon of Ashwagandha churna with a glass of warm milk relieves sleeplessness.

4. Massage temples, head, hands and feet with warm almond or sesame oil before going to sleep. Also massage the soles of feet with castor oil.

5. Eat grated onion added to curd.

6. Roast small brinjal (Eggplant), add some honey and eat before going to sleep.

7. Drink fennel powder and rock sugar (Mishri) added to milk.

8.  Sprinkle cumin seed on sliced banana. Eat before going to sleep.

9. Have a glass of hot milk with cardamom powder and two strands of saffron before going to bed.
